This site has tons of information for on Scouting. You can find downloadable forms, ideas for Den/Patrol meetings and a lot more. Well worth the effort to visit them.

This site is geared to New England Scouts and can be viewed by state for ease of navigation. A wonderful site with plenty of Scouting information. Links to many resources for both Scouts and Leaders. Downloadable forms, Skits, Songs, newsgroups for leaders, Pen Pal lists for Scouts and much more. A New England calendar of events for Scouts is also available.
Pinewood Derby Supersite
This page has it all; supplies, tips, rules, performance hints, instructions, links to other Pinewood Derby sites... and more! If you want to build a Pinewood Derby car that can and will run better than your cars used to then take a look at this page. There is also a very good section on running a Derby and some ideas on how to construct your own track with electronic sensors to determine the winner. Well worth the time.

This is a commercial site so they are trying to sell you something. What they are selling is kits, parts, accessories and advice on building Pinewood Derby cars. They have a huge supply of merchandise to choose from and lots of free advise so it's worth checking out even if you don't plan on buying. At the bottom of this page are links to 'Additional Pinewood Derby Hints' and to 'Links to other Pinewood Derby Sites'. Both are loaded and worth a visit.

The ULTIMATE Pinewood Derby Site
I won't say I agree with the title of this page but it is certainly worth a look. This site had good tips and they are well organized into different categories. They are also straight to the point. This site has and the entire Raingutter Regatta package; tips on building, advice on running the competition and a breakdown of the responsibilities of everyone involved. There is even a downloadable guide that you can read offline and print if you wish. Definitely worth a visit.
Space Derby Information, General and Details
This site has all the information anyone needs to organize and run a Space Derby or to build the rockets. There's details from the construction to the rules, has flight tips for the builder and a special section for additional activities to be held on the race day. Well worth the time it takes to visit this site.

The Backcountry Home Page
A source for camping & hiking information from gear reviews to tips to how to learn to use a compass. If you want information on something (anything!) about camping or hiking it can probably be found here. A very impressive and well-researched site. Note: This is not a graphics heavy site so navigating through it is fairly quick.
Camp-A-Roo
One of the better all-around camping Web sites, this one is more useful for parents who want to take their kids along with them. Articles discuss low-impact camping, your camping supply checklist, activities for the kids, car packing tips, and a very helpful packing list that can be printed. The reviews of campsites are somewhat useful but there are limited reviews of NH based campgrounds.
EarthDay '99, Sponsored by the Wilderness Society
For anyone wishing to participate in the activities of Earthday this is a good place to start. There are a number of links to find out about the organization including a Kid's section, a section designed for teachers, and wilderness information pages. I never knew that the Alaskan Tern travels about 35,000 miles round-trip during it's annual migration to South America. I hope it's worth it!
